Guidelines for Day of Giving 2011

All contributions received through the PittsburghGives Website during the 24-hour period will receive a portion of the matching dollars.

Only credit card donations received through www.pittsburghgives.org during the 24 hours of October 4, 2011 will be matched for this event.  No donations via check, cash or stock will be accepted.

Only MasterCard and Visa donations will be accepted and matched for this event. Discover and AMEX donations will not be accepted or matched.

$500,000 will be available in matching dollars from The Pittsburgh Foundation. Every organization that receives eligible gifts during the match period will receive a portion of the match. Matching dollars will be pro-rated among the participating organizations.

The minimum gift is $25.  The maximum gift that an individual can give per organization is $10,000.

All donations for the Day of Giving 2011 will only be accepted through the www.pittsburghgives.org Website.

Go to http://www.pittsburghgives.org on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Click on Day of Giving Click on Donate Now

Enter your name, email and phone number in appropriate boxes. From the drop down box select "Monroeville Public Library Fund". Enter in donation amount. Minimum donation is 25.00.

Enter in your credit card information on the secure server and click “submit”. You will receive confirmation that your donation has been received and an email will be sent to you for tax purposes.
