As an essential part of our community, Monroeville Public Library needs your support. Each and every day, people turn to the Library seeking a book, a job, access to the Internet, or a quiet oasis where they can enjoy the newspaper, a magazine, or our gallery. At any time, Monroeville Public Library welcomes your gift to help us sustain an ever-growing collection of resources and a wide variety of programs and activities for individuals of all ages - all FREE to the public. Make a gift today for one of the following MPL priorities.
The Annual Fund
Of course books are a tremendously important part of our work and mission; but so are CDs, DVDs, programs for our patrons of all ages, computers and software. Likewise, linkages to other regional libraries are extremely important, facilitating the management of our collective catalog of resources. These items and more comprise our ongoing expenses and can greatly benefit from your charitable support. While you may always designate a gift for the addition of a book to our collection, the most meaningful gift is unrestricted, giving us the greatest latitude to use it where it is needed most.
The Building Fund
Today our facility is more than four decades old. It has seen a multitude of changes over the years, including several additions, the redesign and re-purposing of existing spaces, updates to the infrastructure, and more. Keeping our Library comfortable, current and efficient are our top priorities. Current facility needs include: window replacement; HVAC updates; improvements to our plumbing and electrical systems; and more. Always big ticket items, these needs challenge the resources of Monroeville Public Library. Your gifts to the Building Fund are greatly needed and deeply appreciated.
